Supporting, volunteering, donating
We strongly believe that Stiefel is a global, corporate citizen with a responsibility to give something back to our neighbours all over the world .
Our teams regularly volunteer, raise money and donate supplies to help improve the quality of life of adults and children affected by skin conditions. We share what we’re doing locally on our facebook and twitter pages.
Stiefel directly supports a number of national and international charitable programmes relating to skin health. These are two examples.
Camp Wonder takes place for one week every summer in California. It's run by the Children's Skin Disease Foundation (CSDF), a non-profit organisation that focuses on young people and their families who suffer from skin diseases. At Camp Wonder, kids can relax and enjoy a world of activities, supported by a team of expert staff, including Stiefel volunteers. Stiefel is a long-term financial supporter of CSDF.
We support the International Society of Dermatology (ISD) in its efforts to manage the tropical skin disease Leishmaniasis. We donate our Pentostam treatment to the Regional Leishmaniasis Control Centre(RLCC) programme in Yemen, which manages up to 20 cases a week and conducts awareness-raising campaigns in the region, including in remote and disadvantaged villages.
